Enriching minds preschool organised a field trip for all the children to the ‘Nursery Plantation Unit, Osmannagar, Tellapur on 17th and 21st November 2023. The aim of the visit was to broaden their understanding of plant life and how a green environment can benefit living beings on this planet. Little EMPians were fascinated to see the different types of plants and flowers and were also able to relate many of the plants and trees to what they have seen at their or grandparents’ home. With their curiosity kindled, the children spent a productive day filled with excitement of discovery and proximity to nature. They got first-hand experience on how plants are nurtured in the field. The visit was a revalidation of how experiential learning can be used to inculcate in the students respect for nature.

As part of the ongoing theme- Animals around us! The school celebrated the 'Animals and Plant Dress Up' event on Friday, 8th December 2023. An Animal and Plant-themed based fancy dress helped the children to learn so much about animals and plants, their importance to our environment, and their contribution to the ecosystem.
Orange color Day was celebrated with zest and joy. Orange is a dynamic color and stimulates imagination and creativity. Our little EMPians were dressed in shades of orange, shining brightly. The children learnt various other things about the orange color which also symbolizes enthusiasm, hope and prosperity. The children were asked to bring orange-colored objects in the class . The classrooms were beautifully decorated with orange colored objects, and toys. They brought many objects like carrot, orange, marigold, orange toys and may other orange-colored things. Children let their hands on making orange juice, fun art activities, artistic arrangement of plating the salad and posed at tiger photo booth. Children also experimented by mixing primary colors to get the secondary color.

Instilling this feeling in children will make them responsible citizens of tomorrow.” Enriching Minds Preschool Celebrated 77th Independence Day by instilling a sense of patriotism in children through many fun and creative activities. The program was filled with joy of freedom in the air. The concept of freedom was explained to the students with the story of ‘The Lion and Mouse’. It was lovely to see the feelings of children when the mouse helped the lion to get his freedom. Children of PP1 and PP2 also presented speeches about Independence Day with immense pride and confidence. Children of EMPS also danced and sang patriotic songs putting their heart on sleeves. Children also participated in ‘Quiz Show’ related to the topic - ‘Our Country India’. Children also enthusiastically made Independence Day craft and relished the sweets. “We wish everyone a Happy Independence Day!”
July month Enriching Week was all about "Musical Instruments". Children learnt about different types of musical instruments and understood their sounds. The objective was to encourage children to appreciate diverse musical sounds, gain awareness and confidence and appreciate diversity.
The vibrant and unique folk festival 'Bonalu', reflecting the Telangana culture was celebrated @enrichingminds_preschool. The little hands joined together to make flower rangoli and then the program began with a prayer followed by Bonalu dance by little EMPians who wore beautiful traditional attires. Teachers and the young participants carried exquisitely decorated mud pots on their heads which contained the 'Bonam' and offered it to Goddess Yellamma' as a thanks giving. This helped the students to appreciate the finer nuances associated with this colorful festival.

With the approach of monsoon and the arrival of the much-awaited showers of relief, Mother Earth is refreshed therefore EMPS has taken the opportunity to give the school a green makeover by celebrating Van Mahotsav Week and green week from 3rd to 7th July 2023. The culmination of Van Mahotsav and Green day was celebrated on Friday, 7th July 2023 during school hours as colours 'green 'and 'Van' always complement each other. Children throughout the week learnt about the ‘Germination Process’ that built their curiosity. Children learnt about the importance of plants and how to take care of them. Children pour water to the plants and watch it grow every day. The week is all about green colour related activities and songs. Children came dressed up in green along with any animal mask on the last day of celebrations. The idea was to help instil the value of respect towards nature as well as have some fun time with their friends.
“Giving is a unique joy that can be shared with others.” Eid – Al – Adha was celebrated @Enriching Minds Preschool with togetherness, great zeal and joy. Children were dressed up in festive attire and greeted each other 'Eid Mubarak'. Little ones came together and joined their hands to prepare the festive recipe - Sheer Kurma. Children learnt about the story related to the festival and made a craft activity. To understand and inculcate the life skill of ‘Joy Of Giving’ from early years, children were encouraged to donate gifts to the needy, following the true purpose of the festival. The gifts given by children and the staff of Enriching Minds Preschool were joyfully donated to “Sishu Mangal Orphanage - Nallagandla, Hyderabad" . We sincerely thank our children and parents for their kind support for a good cause!

Today we saw you taking a step towards a new milestone and It’s time to embrace all the new and exciting days of your school life. We loved your smiles, cries, and some denials but you have taken a big leap towards a bright future. Hearty Congratulations Boys and Girls! Children you all have done great today, found new friends, teachers and learnt something new on your first day. Little honeybees of Enriching Minds preschool had a buzzing celebration at summer camp on 19th May 2023, to commemorate ‘World Bees Day’. All the flowers bloomed when little hands made their own flowers and honeybee crowns. Children enacted like bees, buzzing around happily as they drank the nectar from the flowers. Children also understood how pollination worked and the importance of flowers. Children were also delighted to make the crunchy recipe of the week : Bhel Poori and enjoyed the taste of it.
This week summer camp activities were all about ‘Plantation Workshop’ and ‘Recycling from Waste Paper’. Children at camp were engaged in understanding each stage of the plantation, closely observed and nurtured the growth of the plant. Children had a good time making paper mache craft from waste papers and had fun playing several fun games.
What an amazing combination of colourful pyjamas, mushy pillows, soft toys and fun it was, during the ‘Pyjama Party’ at Enriching Minds preschool – Summer Camp. Dressed up in their snazziest night dresses and carrying their favourite soft toy for a sleepover with their friends, the children made the most of this day. The children designed their own night suits, played games, watched movie along with their favourite snacks of popcorn and orange drink. The children were thrilled to play with their favourite toys and enjoyed pillow fight with their friends and teachers. Children also danced their heart out during the slumber party! Children enjoyed playing with the calming bottles that helped them to relax and calm down. The objective behind the Pyjama Party was to assert independence amongst children, to develop social connections. It was truly mesmerizing to see children energetic and cheerful.
Children were engaged in learning 'All About Plants'. Children enjoyed playing 'Go Green' and 'Parts of the Plants Sorting' Games and many more activities that was a wholesome experience of our summer camp buddies....

Eid-Ul-Fitr a Muslim festival was celebrated at @Enriching Minds Preschool And Daycare, on 20th April 2023 with great zeal and joy. Children were dressed up in festive attire and greeted each other 'Eid Mubarak'. Little ones came together and joined their hands to prepare the festive recipe - Sheer Khurma. Children also brought a variety of sweets for the event and shared them with their friends, following the true purpose of the festival - 'SHARING IS CARING'.
